BONATERM® A2

BONATERM® A2 is a contact adhesive based on polychloroprene rubber modified by special set of synthetic resins and other additives; owing to that, adhesive joint has good adhesion and high thermal resistance. BONATERM® A2 is also produced in a non-toluene form as BONATERM® A2 BT.

APPLICATION:

BONATERM® A2 adhesive is used in furniture, Automotive and construction industries for bonding timber, plastics, plywood, rubber, cork, hard PVC, metal. Is not suitable for bonding Styrofoam, polypropylene, polyethylene and soft PVC. BONATERM® A2 can also be used in a footwear industry for bonding natural leathers and some synthetic ones with soles made of thunit rubber, foam rubber as well as for incurring uppers on insoles made of composition leather, texon, bontex materials, etc.

Dry weight:                    18-22% in accordance with PN-EN 827

Viscosity:                       KF 6 mm, outflow50 ml 40-55 sec. in accordance with PN-EN ISO 2431;

Brokfield LDVD 1500-4500 mPas

Peel Strength in accordance with PN-ISO 11339, type of material: canvas-canvas:

Initial – at least 2,0 kN/m

Final – at least 4,0 kN/m

Joint’s thermal resistance: good
